What Went Down at MIFB 2025

We’re still buzzing from the energy of The Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) 2025, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. We had the incredible opportunity to showcase a curated range of commercial-grade coffee equipment to coffee professionals, cafe owners, and enthusiasts from Malaysia and beyond.

A Showcase of Leading Coffee Equipment Brands

Our booth featured a full lineup of renowned industry names including: Rocket Espresso, La Marzocco, Mahlkönig, Anfim, Ditting, and HeyCafé. Each brand bringing innovation, reliability, and performance that meets the evolving demands of today’s specialty coffee scene.

Visitors had the opportunity to get up close with the machines, speak to our team, and experience the build quality and functionality that define each brand.

Our booth layout was thoughtfully designed to guide visitors through different coffee equipment zones. The La Marzocco section featured the Linea PB, Linea Classic S, and the KB90 – offering a range from tried-and-tested cafe staples to cutting-edge innovations with improved ergonomics and workflow optimisation.

As the exclusive distributor of Rocket in Malaysia, we were committed to showcasing the brand's sleek, Italian-made machines in a display that truly honored their reputation. From professional-grade machines like the Boxer Timer and RE Doppia to home models such as the R Cinquantotto and Appartamento TCA, the booth setup allowed attendees to see, feel, and imagine how these machines could fit into their cafe or home coffee bar.

A Spotlight on Mahlkönig X64 SD

One of the highlights was the exclusive display of the all-new Mahlkönig X64 SD.

Designed with modern bar workflows in mind, it offers speed, consistency, and an intuitive user experience. Whether for high-end cafe environments or serious home baristas, the X64 SD definitely made its mark. Visitors had the chance to get a closer look at its minimalist design, magnetic chute system, and impressive workflow improvements, sparking interest and excitement across the board.

Live demo: Rocket RE Doppia with Tyler from Single Dose Coffee

On Friday, the final day of MIFB, we hosted a special demo session with Tyler from Single Dose Coffee, where he walked attendees through the features of the Rocket RE Doppia — Rocket Espresso’s latest innovation in the commercial space.

Tyler highlighted the dry steam technology, user-friendly interface, and overall performance of the RE Doppia, paired seamlessly with the Anfim Luna Coffee Grinder. The session gave baristas and coffee enthusiasts firsthand insight into how this combo can elevate both workflow and coffee quality.

Beyond the machines, what truly made the event special was the opportunity to connect and reconnect with industry peers, partners, and new faces across the F&B and coffee community. From meaningful conversations to shared insights on cafe trends and equipment needs, MIFB 2025 reminded us of the strength and passion that drives the coffee industry forward.
